Terms and Conditions for Booking and Staying at Merito
1. Each room type accommodates only the specified number of guests. A penalty of 3,000 THB will be imposed for bringing unregistered guests exceeding the limit.
2. Children aged 0-4 can share a bed with their parents (1 child per room; for more than 1 child, up to 2, please contact the resort before booking).
3. Children aged 5-9 can share a bed with their parents, but there is a breakfast charge of 150 THB per child.
4. Children aged 10 and above require an extra bed at 600 THB per child, including breakfast.
5. All room rates include breakfast.
6. Extra beds are available for 600 THB, including breakfast.
7. A 50% deposit of the room rate is required upon booking. The remaining 50% can be paid upon check-in.
8. All guests must present a valid ID or passport (for foreigners) upon check-in.
9. Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:00, and check-out is by 12:00 the following day.
10. The resort reserves the right to charge a fee for early check-outs.

13. Use of electrical appliances is not permitted within the resort.
14. Cooking is not allowed in the resort, except for activities pre-approved by the resort to prevent disturbance and fire hazards.
15. Unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight; a penalty of 3,000 THB per guest applies.
16. Guests are responsible for their valuables. The resort is not liable for any loss or damage.
17. Illegal activities or activities against moral and cultural norms (e.g., drug use, gambling, prostitution) are prohibited.
18. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00.
19. Guests must maintain cleanliness. Damages to resort property must be compensated at cost.
20. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and indoor areas, except designated outdoor areas. A penalty of 2,000 THB applies for violations.
21. Proper swimwear is required for pool use; a 2,000 THB penalty applies for improper attire.
22. Pool depths: Adult pool – 1.7 meters, Children's pool – 60 centimeters. Guests must supervise themselves and their companions, especially non-swimmers, to prevent accidents.
23. Alcohol and food are not allowed in the pool area.
24. Activities other than those for exercise and general recreation without disturbance are not permitted in the pool area, unless prior permission has been requested from the resort and approval has been granted in advance.
25. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
26. Guests with pets must bring their pet's bedding, maintain cleanliness, and follow the **Pet Policy** on www.meritoresort.com.
27. The resort has a no-refund policy and does not allow any changes or modifications to room rates once the reservation has been confirmed, under any circumstances. However, guests may request changes to their room reservation details within 14 days prior to the confirmed check-in date, which may incur additional fees depending on the case. Guests are also allowed to request a rescheduling of their stay once within a 6-month period, provided that the request is made at least 14 days before the confirmed check-in date. If the request to reschedule is made outside of this period, a rescheduling fee may apply. If the room rate during the new stay is higher, guests will be required to pay the difference. Guests must confirm their new reservation for the rescheduled stay at least 14 days before the new check-in date. (Room availability is subject to the current occupancy levels at the time of the request.)
28. The resort has a no-refund policy and does not allow changes or modifications to any service charges, such as food and beverage fees, audio equipment rentals, etc., once the reservation has been confirmed, under any circumstances. However, guests may request to make changes to their reservation details once, provided the request is made at least 14 days before the scheduled service date. Additional fees may apply depending on the case.

Pet Policy for Merito
Merito warmly welcomes you and your beloved pets for your vacation. Let your little pets run and experience nature in our vast gardens and expansive beach. 🐕🐈🏖🏝
To ensure that all our guests have a pleasant and safe stay with their beloved pets, we kindly request your cooperation with the following pet policy:
1. Merito only allows dogs and cats. (If you wish to bring a pet other than a dog or cat, please inquire for further details before making a reservation.)
2. Merito welcomes pets weighing no more than 15 kilograms.
3. A maximum of 2 pets per room is allowed, with a combined weight not exceeding 25 kilograms. (If you wish to bring more than 2 pets, please inquire with our staff before making a reservation.)
4. Pet-friendly rooms are limited and can only be reserved directly with the resort in advance.
5. Pet accommodation fees are as follows:
- Pets weighing up to 10 kg: 400 THB per pet per night.
- Pets weighing more than 10 kg but not exceeding 15 kg: 500 THB per pet per night.
6. The resort reserves the right to prohibit the entry of disobedient pets or any poisonous animals to ensure the safety of all guests, other pets, and our staff.
7. Pet owners must provide accurate information about their pets at least 1 day in advance, including:
- Breed
- Weight
- Age
- Current photo
- Latest vaccination record with a certified vaccination certificate (Vaccinations must cover the entire duration of the stay. Pets without up-to-date vaccinations will not be allowed to stay.)
Failure to provide this information in advance will incur an additional fee of 500 THB. Pets without the required information and certification will not be allowed to stay for safety reasons.
8. According to public health regulations, pets are not allowed in public areas such as restaurants and swimming pools.
9. The resort has designated common areas for pets, including:
- Gardens
- Beach area
- Front parking area
Owners must supervise their pets at all times in these areas.
We ask all guests with pets to ensure their pets do not disturb other guests through noise or improper behavior and maintain cleanliness at all times. If a pet causes disturbances or cannot be controlled, the owner will be asked to remove the pet from the area immediately and will be charged for any damages caused.
10. For hygiene reasons, pet owners must manage their pets' waste properly. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. A cleaning fee of 500 THB will be charged for improper waste disposal.
11. Pet owners are responsible for their pets while at the resort. Pets are not allowed on furniture or dining tables. Any damages caused will be charged to the pet owner.
12. Maintain a safe distance between pets to avoid conflicts and disturbances. The resort reserves the right to request the removal of any pet causing disturbances.
13. Pets must be under the owner's control at all times. Use a leash, pet carrier, stroller, or crate in common areas to prevent accidents. Pet owners are liable for any damages or injuries caused by their pets.
14. Pets must not be left unattended in the rooms. Resort staff will not enter rooms if pets are alone.
15. Pets are not allowed on human beds. Owners must bring their pets' bedding for the stay. This helps ensure the pet's comfort and reduces stress.
16. Pet owners must provide their pets' food and feeding supplies. Bringing familiar items can help pets feel more comfortable and reduce stress.
17. Owners must keep their rooms and resort areas clean. Owners must clean up any pet-related messes. Neglecting cleanliness can result in additional cleaning fees and damage charges.
